Grassroots Grants help emerging Central Florida nonprofits strengthen the infrastructure and capabilities behind their work. Funding may support improvements in governance, financial management, fundraising, program evaluation, technology and continuous learning.

Eligibility

Is Your Organization Eligible?

Eligible applicants must:

  • Self-identify as a grassroots organization
  • Have been operating for more than one year
  • Have raised at least $5,000
  • Have annual revenue under $250,000
  • Serve residents of Central Florida

How to Apply

Application Dates and Instructions

Applications will open Spring/Summer 2027

  1. Sign in to the MyGrant portal.
  2. Enter passcode to access the application.
  3. Complete and submit the application by the deadline.

Applicants may submit written responses or upload a video response of no more than four minutes. Video and written applications are evaluated equally, with no preference given to either format.
