3 Ways Advisors Find Us Most Helpful

We work with CPAs, financial advisors, and estate planning attorneys in a variety of ways, helping them navigate charitable giving questions and find solutions for their clients. Here are three of the most common ways we help.

1. Refer a Client

Have a client interested in establishing a donor advised fund or exploring charitable giving options? Send them our way. We'll guide them through the process while keeping you involved.

2. Bring Us to Your Firm

Invite our team to present on donor advised funds, charitable tax updates, and giving strategies that help you better serve your clients.

3. Use Us as a Sounding Board

Have a charitable giving question or a complex client scenario? Give us a call. We're here to share our expertise, talk through options, and help you find solutions.

Advisor FAQs

When should I bring Central Florida Foundation into a client conversation?

The earlier, the better! Whether your client is preparing for retirement, selling a business, updating an estate plan, or looking for a more intentional approach to giving, we can help explore charitable strategies that align with their financial and philanthropic goals. You don't need to have all the answers before calling us.

What types of assets can my client use to establish a charitable fund?

In addition to cash and appreciated securities, CFF can accept real estate, closely held business interests, and other complex assets, subject to our gift acceptance policies. Our team can help evaluate charitable giving options and coordinate the necessary steps alongside you and your client's professional team.

Can I remain involved in my client's charitable giving?

Absolutely. Our role is to complement your expertise, not replace it. We work behind the scenes or alongside you, depending on what best serves your client. In some circumstances, there may also be opportunities for an existing investment advisor to remain involved in managing charitable assets, subject to applicable policies.

Can CFF help my clients with estate and legacy planning?

Yes. We help clients incorporate charitable giving into their long-term plans, whether that means establishing an endowed fund, supporting specific organizations, or creating a lasting family legacy. We work alongside you to develop giving solutions that reflect your client's intentions.

Does my client have to support Central Florida nonprofits, and what if they don't know where to give?

Not at all. While Central Florida is our home, your clients can support eligible nonprofits across the United States, and international giving is also possible with additional due diligence. If they're unsure where to give, we can help them explore their interests, understand community needs, and discover organizations that align with their values.
