Think Global, Act Local
Thrive Education supports Sustainable Development Goal #4.
Education opens the doors to the world. Children with a solid educational foundation grow into focused, talented adults that create the strong families and communities that make the region thrive. Better education and job readiness mean safer neighborhoods and a workforce ready for the next wave of jobs and opportunities. The Education Impact Fund fuels action and initiatives that make education accessible for everyone, with a focus on social-emotional learning, early literacy, and life-long learning.

Scholarships Central Florida Foundation awards scholarships each year, supporting students seeking higher education.
Conversation We lead community conversations that bring people from across sectors together to explore innovative ways we can support our educational system outside of traditional scholarships.
Being awarded this scholarship has not only alleviated the financial burden of affording college but has also restored in me a sense of hope for myself and others like me. This award has motivated me to work even harder and devote myself to becoming the best that I can be at my craft.

Central Florida Foundation has representation on workgroups and conversations around the city. Right now, we’re a part of: the K Ready leadership team, focusing on ensuring early childhood education is a priority across Orange County, and a partner in UpliftED, led by Heart of Florida United Way.
