ORLANDO, FL — September 10, 2025 — Steven J. Jerina, CAP®, has joined Central Florida Foundation (CFF) as Vice President of Philanthropic Strategies and Partnerships. In this role, Steven leads and manages the annual plan for business revenue, asset growth, and fundholder satisfaction.

Steven’s experience includes serving as a Senior Director of Regional Giving with Rollins College and working with Omaha Community Foundation, where he led efforts in planned and collective giving. He has also worked with professional advisors and donors to advise on charitable gift strategies.

“It’s rare to find the unique qualities that Steven brings to this role. His experience in community foundation work, combined with his belief that philanthropy is about far more than dollars, makes him a powerful addition to our team,” shared Mark Brewer, President/CEO of CFF. “He understands that at its core, philanthropy is about building meaningful relationships and creating lasting impact that goes beyond treating the symptoms of an issue.”

Steven is already leaning into this new role, getting out into the community and co-leading CFF initiatives, such as its Thrive Venture Philanthropy Cohort and Professional Advisory Council.

“I’m truly excited to return to community foundation work, because I believe it is critical to any region’s ability to thrive,” said Steven on his new role. “I look forward to getting out into the community, engaging with fundholders, those who are new to philanthropy, and those simply looking to bring impact home to Central Florida.”

Steven leads CFF’s Philanthropy team, which focuses on developing personalized giving strategies for individuals, families, and organizations seeking high-impact philanthropy and a deeper connection to collaborative, effective community work.
