CENTRAL FLORIDA FOUNDATION ELECTS NEW OFFICERS & BOARD MEMBERS, PROMOTES DIRECTOR TO VP OF STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS
ORLANDO, FL — May 5, 2025 — Central Florida Foundation Board of Directors recently elected officers John Martinez of J.P. Morgan Private Bank as Board Chair, Roi Ewell of Ewell & Associates as Vice Chair, and Karla Muniz of InHealth MD Alliance as Secretary. Waymon Armstrong of Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) will serve as Immediate Past Chair.
Cindy Campbell of Greenberg Traurig, LLP, Fran Korosec of RVR Consulting Group and Junior Achievement of Central Florida, and Megan Rose of the United States Tennis Association join the Board of Directors.
“Our Board of Directors has always been innovative, diverse, and highly engaged. With our new officers and board members, we’re excited to continue this tradition with the addition of fresh perspectives,” Mark Brewer, President/CEO of Central Florida Foundation, shared.
Through their service on the Foundation’s Board of Directors, each of these individuals’ expertise and professional work will help to steer the Foundation’s mission, its high-impact philanthropic approach, and its larger role in the Central Florida community as an independent convener across sectors.
Additionally, the Foundation promoted Laurie Crocker, previously the Director of Marketing and Communications, to Vice President of Strategic Communications. This decision reaffirms the Foundation’s commitment to clear, meaningful communication, grounded in relatable language and an accessible approach to community engagement and high-impact philanthropy.
“A community foundation that serves the diverse roles we do requires a strong voice to share and engage with the community,” said Brewer. “Laurie’s ability to take complex issues and make them clear, whether through written word or spoken, such as on our First You Talk podcast, is a critical piece of an effective, thriving Foundation and increases our ability to serve our community well. We’re proud to share this promotion.”
