An Update from Central Florida Foundation on Coronavirus
At Central Florida Foundation, we take the threat of the coronavirus very seriously. From the possibility of widespread infection to the economic effects, we realize the layers of negative impact this pandemic can have on all aspects of the Central Florida community. Our priority is to keep our team, their families, our partners and community safe.
With that, we are taking the following precautions to do our part to minimize the spread of germs:
- Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, the CFF team will operate remotely. Our main number, 407-872-3050, will be answered as normal from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm weekdays and all staff will remain accessible as usual via email and phone. Find a listing of our team here.
- We will limit gatherings and meetings to phone and video calls. During this time, we ask for your patience as we reach out to reschedule meetings or to set up alternate arrangements.
We will keep monitoring the situation and will share additional updates in the event we need to take further action. Meanwhile, we encourage you to contribute to local nonprofits that are experiencing interruptions to their services and those that support our community and residents in time of need. Visit Nonprofit Search to identify nonprofits to support here.
From all of us at CFF, stay safe and exercise caution. Reach out to friends, neighbors and family – staying connected in times of uncertainty matters most. Thank you for your understanding, and we will keep you updated as changes occur.
Follow updates from the Center for Disease Control here and the Florida Department of Health here. We will update our Disaster Readiness page here with additional updates as they are available.
