For nonprofits: After Hurricane Milton and depending on the impact on our region, the Edyth Bush Institute may send out a survey to all nonprofits to assess needs. Please be on the lookout for that communication post-storm. CFF will also send out the survey link to our nonprofit newsletter email list. If you are not on that list and would like to be, please click here.
Note for CFF Fundholders: If you have a Fund with us and would like to submit a grant recommendation to any of these organizations or others you’d like to support, please click here and log into your account to make your recommendation. (Note: you may have to enter in contact information, found on the nonprofit’s website, if this is a new grantee). If you need help with this process, please reach out to Neil Rios, our Philanthropic Relationship Manager, at nrios@cffound.org or by calling 407-872-3050 x116.
Great communities aren’t defined by good times. It’s the tough times that test a community’s strength, unity and resilience. Our ability to persevere through disasters—both natural or manmade—is critical to keeping Central Florida a place people love to call home. That’s why we’ve joined forces with community leaders to create a coordinated, community-wide crisis plan that connects individuals and organizations to the help and resources they need before, during and after a crisis strikes.
Proactive preparation before a crisis strikes can help you avoid the biggest problems post-disaster. The resources below will individuals and non-profit organizations preparedness with available tips and assessments.
