The undergraduate Nonprofit Management degree program at UCF teaches students the fundamental elements of nonprofit operations. Offering an in-depth look at two critical elements of nonprofits: fiscal resources and human (people) resources, the program prepares a new generation of nonprofit leaders to thrive and drive change through organizations that address our community’s evolving needs.
UCF students enrolled in the program get to experience CFF’s strategic grantmaking process first-hand. With guidance from Sandi Vidal, Vice President of Community Strategies and Initiatives, and Alissa Mahadeo, Community Investment Manager, students research and recommend local nonprofits to receive funding from community investors. In the past, the CFF collaboration has included board members and 100 Women Strong members serving as mentors to students.
As an organization dedicated to building community by building philanthropy, we understand how critical it is to inspire, educate and empower the next generation of strategic grantmakers, strengthening our independent sector. CFF is proud to work alongside the passionate and community-minded students who will soon be leading the charge to create a better, stronger Central Florida.
