Founded by the University of Central Florida in 2024, the Center for Social and Civic Prosperity (CSCP) is a research center on a mission to achieve measurable impact in local and global communities. It facilitates interdisciplinary research across a network of community partners, collecting and translating data that will drive policies and programs that enhance quality of life for residents of Central Florida and beyond.
Central Florida Foundation’s role as a community convenor, connect, and knowledge hub, led UCF to select Sandi Vidal, CFF Vice President of Community Strategies and Initiatives, as a Co-Chair of CSCP. Sandi collaborates with Thomas Bryer, Co-Chair from UCF, to ensure the center meets its objectives and aligns the work with the interests of a diverse range of stakeholders and community organizations.
Our communities are filled with passionate changemakers, many of whom are working on the same issues and challenges. CSCP unifies these efforts, collecting, sharing and translating data into concrete action steps. Combining community knowledge, academic research and insights from across a vast partner network, we will carve out the path for true change.
